Tonya Walls

Director

I was born and raised in the borough of West Chester and graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. I opened Little Faces Childcare Center in August 2010 when I noticed that the west end f the borough was lacking the need of childcare services. I loved working with children as a childcare teacher, but eventually wanted to do more with many of the families in the surrounding area. I continued my social service work with children and families in the capacity of a General Protective Services caseworker, for Chester County Children, Youth and Families. As a compliance manager for VisionQuest I continued my social service work, advocating for children's rights while in residential care.

I continue to call West Chester my home. I am the mother of two wonderful children. I love spending quality time with my family, especially my two grandsons, being outdoors, watching movies, and reading a good book.

These years are precious and pass by so quickly and being able to provide a safe and loving environment at LFCC is great. I am lucky to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful children and families.

Kimmie Di Nhong

Group Supervisor

Hi! My name is Kimmie Di. I am the school-age supervisor. My role involves providing assistance, when needed, to the children as they engage in various activities throughout the day! This will be my third year with LFCC. I've recently graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Grades Education and I am super excited to see how I can help the children become successful and confident, as they take on new challenges. In my free time, I love to read a good book, workout, and try new cooking recipes!

Julia Massengill

Assistant Group Supervisor

Hello, my name is Julia Massengill and I am an assistant at Little Faces Childcare Center. I am a student working towards completing my bachelors degree in early childhood education and hopefully someday obtaining a masters degree in ECE. My passion for teaching began in high school and I have had lots of experience working with children of all ages ever since. In my time outside of the classroom, I enjoy distance running and spending time with my family and my dog. I am grateful to be apart of the great team of teachers at LFCC and I am very excited to be able to help all the children at Little Faces learn and grow this year!
